What Is the Wiliot
Network Infrastructure?

The Wiliot Network Infrastructure is the middle layer of the Wiliot Physical AI platform. It serves two critical and simultaneous functions: energizing nearby battery-free IoT Pixels using radio signals, and collecting the sensing data those Pixels transmit — then forwarding that data securely to the Wiliot Physical AI platform for AI-driven processing.

Infrastructure devices are off-the-shelf bridges and gateways (also referred to as hubs) that are quick to deploy, work with standard low-voltage installation, and integrate seamlessly with cellular, Wi-Fi, or wired LAN connectivity. Once in place, they operate continuously and autonomously — no manual intervention required.

Four Core Functions

Data Path

Receives Bluetooth Low Energy sensor data from IoT Pixels in the surrounding area and relays it to network-connected gateway devices for forwarding to the Wiliot Physical AI platform.

Energizing IoT Pixels

Transmits Sub-1GHz or 2.4GHz radio energy to wake up and activate battery-free IoT Pixels within the vicinity — providing the power they need to sense and transmit without any batteries.

Network Management

Controls and monitors the network: device topology, location assignments, connection status, power profiles, and device configurations — all manageable remotely via the Wiliot Physical AI platform.

Cloud Connectivity

Uploads IoT Pixel sensing data and network telemetry to the Wiliot Physical AI platform via cellular, Wi-Fi, or wired LAN — whichever connectivity option best fits the deployment environment.

Wiliot Network Infrastructure is designed to deploy wherever your supply chain operates — inside facilities and in moving vehicles alike.

Facilities

Place bridges and gateways in DCs, warehouses, backrooms, coolers, freezers, and stores to create continuous zones of visibility. Tagged assets are tracked automatically as they move between defined areas — no scanning, no manual check-ins.

In Transit

Install bridges and gateways inside refrigerated trailers and delivery vehicles to extend visibility across every mile of the cold chain and logistics network. Monitor location, temperature, and dwell time continuously from departure to delivery.

Certified Partner Devices

Wiliot provides conformance tools and a certification program to verify that partner devices meet Wiliot platform standards. Certification requires submission and approval of test results by Wiliot. The following devices are currently certified:
