Field Technician
We are seeking Field Technicians to join our Dallas team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will play a critical part in deploying and supporting Wiliot’s cutting-edge IoT solutions in real-world environments.
As a Field Technician, you will serve as the vital link between our technology and our customers, ensuring successful implementation, performance, and adoption of Wiliot solutions. You will collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers and Solution Engineers to bring solutions from concept to full-scale deployment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, solving technical challenges, and directly contributing to customer success in a fast-paced, innovative environment.Wiliot was founded by the team that invented one of the technologies at the heart of 5G. Their next vision was to develop an IoT sticker, a computing element that can power itself by harvesting radio frequency energy, bringing connectivity and intelligence to everyday products and packaging, things previously disconnect from the IoT. This revolutionary mixture of cloud and semiconductor technology is being used by some of the world’s largest consumer, retail, food and pharmaceutical companies to change the way we make, distribute, sell, use and recycle products.

We are looking for Field Technicians to join our Dallas team. This is a unique opportunity to work with world-class customers, stay technical, and enable scale – so think big. In this position, you will be supporting the successful implementation Wiliot products. The Field Technicians are the connecting link between Wiliot’s products and our customers.
In partnership with Customer Success Managers and Solution Engineers, the Field Technicians are interacting with customers at every step of the journey – Form understanding the problem, planning a solution architecture, deploying it at scale and molding the generated data to create customer value.
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics, networking, or a related field
- 0–3 years of experience in field service, technical support, or installation roles (IoT, telecom, or hardware environments preferred)
- Basic understanding of wireless technologies such as BLE, RFID, or RF systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with hardware tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical documentation
- Willingness to travel locally (and occasionally regionally) to customer sites
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed for installations
